세상에 태어나면 이름을 받는다. 이름은 한 인간의 영혼과 육체를 대표하고 존재를 증명한다. <오행백신센터>에서는 이름을 토대로 내담자와 상담을 진행하며 파동 성명학 이론을 바탕으로 해 자음과 모음으로 오행(목, 화, 토, 금, 수)을 살핀다. 관객은 오행 기운을 채우는 데 최적화되어 있는 안락의자에서 이름에 부족한 기운을 빛과 소리로 처방받는다. 예술가의 유쾌한 조형 언어로 내려진 백신 처방은 기운을 북돋게 하고 이름의 참 의미와 내면의 참된 자신에 대해 사유할 수 있도록 돕는다. 아포리아(Aporia, 막다른 골목, 해결의 방도를 찾을 수 없는 난관의 상태를 의미) 시대에 ‘인간’이라는 소우주 이해를 통해 ‘대우주’의 깊이까지 통찰해 볼 수 있다.

정윤선은 의미로 채워진 장소와 그 의미를 생산해 온 사람에 대해 꾸준히 탐구해 왔다. 특정 장소에 촘촘하게 기록된 내러티브에 개입하며, 예술적 행위를 매개로 공동체 구성원들과 관계를 맺는다. 그들의 생각과 정서를 바탕으로 지역과 사회, 사람을 향한 예술적 실천을 기획하고 실행한다. 궁극적으로 장소의 주체인 우리가 ‘어떻게 살 것이며, 앞으로 어떻게 역사를 이어 나갈 것인지’에 대해 철학적 사유의 길을 제시한다.

Names are given to us once we are born in this world. The name represents the mind and the body of a being, thus proving its existence as a whole. <TFCVC> examines the five elements(wood, fire, earth, metal, and water) of the vowels and consonants in the name of the client based on the theory of “Wave Name Analysis.” Light and sound are prescribed to the viewers to replenish the weak side of their names. And during the visit, the viewers can rest on the armchairs made perfectly for receiving the energy. This “vaccine prescription,” made with the artist’s cheerful visual language, helps to regenerate, and it reflects on the true meaning of the name along with one’s genuine subconsciousness. In this time of Aporia(a dead end, a state where there is no way of resolving), the work has an insight into the depth of the “macrocosm” by providing hindsight to the microcosm that is “human being.”
