    일민미술관은 한불수교 140주년을 기념해 세종문화회관 Sync Next 26 개막작 〈바람만으로 모래만으로는 소리가 나지 않는다〉의 쇼케이스를 개최합니다.

    한국과 프랑스의 아티스트 6인은 정가와 중세 성가, 해금과 비올라 다모레, 거문고와 전자음악을 교차하며 서로 다른 소리들이 관계를 맺고 변화하는 과정에 주목합니다. 일민미술관 옥상에서 진행되는 이번 공연은 도시의 소음과 건축적 환경을 공연 장치로 수용합니다. 미술관이라는 장소를 재조명하는 한편 건축 100주년을 맞은 건축물의 시간을 기념합니다.

    * 본 공연은 청계광장 방면 동아미디어센터 LUUX 전광판을 통해 실시간 중계됩니다.

    * 우천 시에는 일민미술관 내 별도 공간에서 공연을 진행합니다.

    Ilmin Museum of Art hosts a showcase of Wind Alone, Sand Alone-Make No Sound, the opening performance of Sync Next 26—the contemporary season of Sejong Center for the Performing Arts—commemorating the 140th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Korea and France.

    Six artists from Korea and France turn their attention to how different sounds form relationships and transform through exchange, intersecting Jeongga and medieval chant, haegeum and viola d’amore, geomungo and electronic music. Presented on the rooftop of Ilmin Museum of Art, this performance embraces the noise of the city and architectural surroundings as integral elements of the work. It reexamines the art museum as a site while marking the passage of time embodied in the architecture on its 100th anniversary.

    * The performance will be livestreamed in real time on the LUUX media signage of the Dong-A Media Center, visible from Cheonggye Plaza.

    * In the case of rain, the performance will be relocated to an indoor space within Ilmin Museum of Art.
